Joomla Showroom is happy to announce the release of our new version of Event Registration Pro 1.5.2 for Joomla 1.5.

This new version has many new features and enhancements.

1) AJAX Shopping Cart style feature added -

Now your visitors can select multiple quantities of every ticket choice you create. There is a nice ajax featured cart that allows your registrants to see exactly what their ticket choices are and to make adjustments to their selections before checking out and registering. We have added this feature and were still able to retain our minimal 2 page registration process.

2) Discount coupon feature added for dollar amount and percentage discounts.

Now you can offer discount coupon codes to your registrants. Entice people to sign up by using discount coupons.

3) New feature for selling additional items besides event tickets such as Lunches, Dinners, Books, etc.

Aside from the event tickets we have added a secondary method for creating additional sale items. You can now sell additional items and offer upsell items to your registrants.

4) Updated paypal payment plugin

Tweaked payment plugin to accommodate the new shopping cart features.

5) Bug fixes - various minor bug fixes were taken care of.

6) Default category and date event sorting order

Events are now automatically ordered by the event categories. No need to manually sort the events that were added out of order.

7) New Online Web Help User Manual

We have created a brand new online web help manual for our products. This will allow us to update the online user manuals in real time and links within the components will offer you up to date information to these new online user manuals.

8) Added the ability to create $0.00 tickets

Now you can create tickets with a zero amount price if you wish.

Existing customers only can upgrade from the Joomla 1.0 version to this new Joomla 1.5 version by using coupon code regpro15upgrade to get a 50% discount. 

Note: As of this point forward we will not be adding any new features to the Joomla 1.0 version of Event Registration Pro. All new features will only be added to the Joomla 1.5 native version. We will still support our Joomla 1.0 version for bug fixes only.
