We have some policy changes that we need to make clear regarding our support.
1. We will only support websites that are running the LATEST versions of Joomla 1.0 and 1.5. So whatever the current release is for these 2 versions is what we will support. You should ALWAYS be running the latest version of Joomla anyway for security reasons. PERIOD!
2. We will only support websites that are running PHP5 as PHP4 is not even supported by Joomla since version 1.5.7 was released.
When posting a support ticket, please make sure you provide us all of the requested information that we are asking in the ticket form. Not providing us with your website information will only delay the support that we can provide to our customers. After all, how can we offer support if there is not any information for us to help you with? |

We are proud to release our brand new component - ELECTIONS PRO
Election Pro is the first ever electoral component for Joomla. Election Pro allows you to have an election with many positions available. You can have nominees that can sign up to run for office and other users can vote as to who gets elected to a certain position.
 
Election Pro is much more than just a poll or rating software. If you are a company or non-profit association, etc and you hold yearly or occasional elections then this is the extention for you.
Election Pro works great for electing people into positions for:
Company Board of Directors
Committees
School boards
Associations
And anything else you would need to vote a person into a position.
- Increase voter turnout – typically by 50 to 100 per cent
- Run a smooth unchallenged election
Highly secure, accurate, no risk of repeat voting
Secure anonymous voting or use transparent voting when appropriate

Run high security online elections and avoid all the cost, effort and expense of printing, posting and counting paper ballots. People can vote from anywhere and the result is immediate.
Configuration Settings
Send an email to a preset email address when the election has ended
Custom date format settings for your location
Record vote by user ID, IP address or both
Send notification to users at the end of election
Allow the users to nominate more then one person for a position
Show result for winners only or for all nominees
Customizable language file
Edit the language file directly from within the Election Pro control panel
Custom automated email templates
Easily customize the emails that are automatically sent from Election Pro
Nominee email is automatically sent out to the user that has been nominated for a position in your election. This email will allow the nominee to either accept or decline the chance to participate for that position in the election.
Results email is the email that will be sent to all participants letting them know that the election has ended and that the results of the election are now available.
Special tags can be used to customize the emails to include many details of the elections
Election Manager
You can have as many elections as you wish going on at one time.
Add descriptions of what your election is about.
Choose your election start and end dates.
Choose which date range you will allow people to actually vote on.
Single or multiple day voting.
Choose to allow only registered users to vote or allow the public to vote.
Positions
You can have an unlimited amount of positions available for people to be elected. These positions could be for example
President
Vice Presitent
Treasurer, and so on
Nominees
Nominees and others that are running for a position can upload a photo of themselves and also provide a short bio or description of why they should be elected for the position which can be publicly viewed prior to the actual voting date. A user can be nominated for multiple positions if he chooses to run for that position.
Election Resilts
Election results can be displayed to the website front end or be kept private.
Elections results can show only the winners of the various positions or it can show the losers also and the percentage of vites received for each person.

We are very pleased to announce a few new versions of our products.
Event Registration Pro is now released with a Joomla 1.5 native version available. This new version works with Joomla 1.5 legacy mode on or off without conflict. This new version also supports integration with Community Builder version 1.2. The 1.5 native version is not an upgrade to the previous Joomla 1.0 compatible version and is a seperate purchase. However we are offering a 50% discount to existing Registration Pro customers that wish to upgrade to this new Joomla 1.5 native version of this component. Existing customers should post a support ticket to get the coupone code.
Joomlearn LMS SIlver Edition is available with minor bug fixes but most importantly it now has much more enhanced security for the training files. We are currently developing a Joomla 1.5 native version of this component to be released within a few weeks.
Pro Desk Support Center version 1.4 has been updated in both Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 native versions to address a medium level security vulnerability. We strongly advise all customers to update to this most current version.

Yesterday Water & Stone released the first extensive survey of market share in the open source content management system market. The survey shows that three systems lead the race: WordPress, Joomla! and Drupal. The survey concludes that these three systems have opened up a large lead on the rest of the pack to become the dominant brands in the market. What remains to be seen is which of these three brands will emerge as the leader.
